Dear Parishioners,
It has been a blessed first week of Advent here at St Peter’s, with good
numbers taking up the opportunity for weekday Mass, Confession, and
Eucharistic Adoration. At the back of church are Examinations of Conscience
with a guide for going to Confession – please do help yourself.
Please remember in your prayers several parishioners who have died
recently: Francis (Frank) Campbell, Julie Lamare, and Julian Tolkien. May they
rest in peace. Funeral details will be announced in due course.
This coming week I will be visiting Bromsgrove School to discuss provision for
the Catholic pupils. I am grateful to the parents who have been in touch with
me about this, and it is good to often have a number of the school’s pupils join
us for Mass at the weekend.
